The AACC annual Gala was a great success celebrating our 25th anniversary, with 470 attendants. The master ceremony was presented by Mark Nejame and Dr.Manal Fakhoury.
Our purpose of the Gala is to better inform people with our services and what we do and what we plan on doing.
Donations are used to sustain the services we provide.
The Gala had a great family oriented atmosphere, with diner provided as our slideshows and videos were playing to entertain our guests in a way that would help them better take a look at our services and duties toward our community. Steve Salibi handed the video taking and editing.
Our keynote speaker Jamal Hakeem CEO of Orlando health did a great job and captured everyone’s attention in a beautiful way.
Tareek Kabbaj the president of FLACC spoke about the launch of FLACC, and the main focus of the chamber on local Arab businesses.
Our great Comedian Aaron Kader filled in the room with laughter and enjoyment, as the guests enjoyed the appetizers provided by Taboon restaurant.
A very nostalgic moment was shared when our outgoing president David Sleiman spoke about AACC accomplishments during 2013-2014, following that our current president Vienna Nemeh spoke about the expectations and what awaits the great future of AACC. The new board was sworn in, following that we bought our religious leaders together by recognizing Father Bassam from St. Jude, Father John from St. George Orthodox Church, Imam Masri of the Islamic Society CR, Imam sykes, and our AACC advisor Imam
